Interactive Public Video Artwork

Stream is an interactive public artwork that invites Chicagoans to participate in its creation. Filmed participants will see themselves transported onto the largest LED screen in Chicago, where they will become part of a shared video portrait of the city, visually linked with over 100 others on screen. Taking the form of a silent river of faces reacting to something unknown, Stream is a provocative reminder that seeing and being seen are often simultaneous social acts in a highly populated city like Chicago.
