Here are two new watercolors I did today:

Today J.Hat and I went to the Bandit Gallery BBQ in East Hollywood. We sat outside and drank some beers and watched Los Angeles hipsters smoke tens of packs of cigarettes and eat hot dogs until the sun began to set. At around 6:00 Yoni Wolf the lead singer of Why? played a short solo set which included the new title track “Eskimo Song” off the upcoming Why? album (due Sept 09)  After the show we drove over to Amoeba records where I picked up the Xiu Xiu 1000 7” vinyl. Each record features an individual polaroid photograph taken by David Horvitz. Mine features a girl holding a sign which reads “Bored” in front of the subway in New York.  So far I’ve checked two items off my Los Angeles Checklist! Here some mp3’s from the Yoni Wolf solo set:
