I did stop motion animation in it and it’s made by my buddies Adam Kurland and Lucas Jansen.

GERTY says "I feel fine!"
“Moon” is one of those movies that rarely comes along where you have no clue what is going to happen next. Forget all those stun rays and warp speed summer flicks, this film is hard sci-fi, the kind of film that makes you feel like feel like crying or throwing up or feeling confused all at once. Sam rockwell plays Sam a guy who has to do 3 years of solitary energy mining work on the moon. Sam’s only companion is a HALish robot named GERTY who is voiced by Kevin SPACEy and uses cheesy happy face emoticons to convey it’s feelings. The film opens on Sam’s last two weeks on the moon and let’s just say that over the course of these final days in outer space, Sam begins to lose it. Lunatics are called lunatics for a reason. Go see this movie before that guy at your water-cooler ruins it for you. Also the music is done by Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain) who is all the rage on Jupiter.

I saw this movie Little Ashes with my grandmother because she was good friends with Luis Buñuel who is depicted in the film as a homophobic crazy person. (Which he wasn’t) However Salvador Dali is depicted as an even crazier egomaniac franco supporter (Which he was) The entire film focuses on the love affair between Dali and Garcia Lorca which may or may not have happened but according to this very silly film it involved lots of moonlight swims, poetry and group sex. An awkward film to see with my Abuela. Robert Pattinson plays Dali as if he was a vampire…surprise surprise. What is up with the long nails in every film Mr Pattinson? Are you that creepy or have you simply not heard of trimmers? Little ashes is a little ridiculous.
Wallet should be back to me by 3! Now I’m off to see a screening of the Time Traveler’s Wife with my mother.
Universal is remaking ‘Drop Dead Fred’ with Russell Brand. From the press release: “Produced by PolyGram and Working Title, the first “Fred” was critically drubbed and commercially unsuccessful. But it did achieve a certain cult status and is considered a film that fell short of its full potential.” Hey Universal I’ve got some other critically “drubbed and commercially unsuccessful” ideas for films you can remake.
Ernest Goes to Camp ”A group of juvenile criminals is sent for vacation to Kamp Kikakee. The clumsy Ernest has to care for them. They also help the Indian owner of the camp when a brutal mining corporation wants to tear down the camp to mine a rare mineral.” This time Ernest will be played by Seth Rogan and will be set in New Jersey where a group of juvenile criminals from Newark are sent for a vacation in which they also help the Indian owner of the camp when a brutal mall corporation wants to tear down the camp to mine a rare mineral…corn dogs.
Vampire’s Kiss ”A publishing executive is visited and bitten by a vampire and starts exhibiting erratic behavior like eating cockroaches and pigeons in central park. He pushes his secretary to extremes as he tries to come to terms with his affliction.” This time the vampire will be played by Zach Efron and will feature a musical number in a highschool.
Hobgoblins ”Hobgoblins” is perhaps the very worst of the wave of “small killer creatures” movies that began with “Gremlins” (and included much better examples of the sub-genre than this one, which even makes “Ghoulies” look like a cinematic masterpiece)” This time the hobgoblins will be in 3D and you’ll have to pay an extra 3 bucks to see the movie in theaters eventhough the film will be exactly the same. Except Marlon Brando’s head will be digitally composited onto all of the Hobgoblins…in 3d.
